What is Love YEG?

Love YEG is our way of giving back to the city we love! Every month, we partner with local organizations like Operation Friendship Senior Society, The Mustard Seed, and Adeara to serve and care for people in our community. Through these partnerships, we’re able to meet practical needs, build meaningful relationships, and show the love of Jesus in tangible ways.


Whether it’s packing lunches, writing cards, or collecting donations, anyone can be a part of these outreach projects!

Current Outreach Projects

Love YEG Serve Days

On the first Saturday of every month, we come together as a church community to serve our city.


On December 6th at 10:00AM at Evolve, you can come help us serve and choose from three different projects:

  • Packing Christmas stockings for Operation Friendship Senior Society
  • Writing cards for the Edmonton Remand Centre
  • Putting together backpacks for The Mustard Seed


No registration is required, so why not show up and lend a hand :)


Holiday Toy Drive for Bissell Centre

This Christmas, we’re collecting new, unwrapped toys to donate to the Bissell Centre, a non-profit that helps families overcome poverty. We’ll be gathering donations up until November 30th! Bring your toy donations to Evolve and drop them at the info bar before then. Let's come together to make this season a little brighter for local families!


INFANTS (0-2): musical toys, rattles, shape stackers, board books

CHILDREN (3-11): picture books, graphic novels, sporting goods, craft & science sets, puzzles, art supplies, dolls, building toys, vehicle toys, animal toys

YOUTH (12+): gift cards, sporting goods, sealed cosmetics, board games, puzzles, art supplies


*Please no plush, used items, food or candy


Backpack Items for The Mustard Seed

This season, we’re collecting items for The Mustard Seed to help fill backpacks for those experiencing homelessness.


Items we are collecting include:

- Backpacks

- Travel size hygiene products

- Gift cards (Tims Hortons, Starbucks)

- Winter accessories (mitts, toques, scarfs, pocket warmers, etc.)

- Chocolates


Bring your items to Evolve up until November 30th and drop them off at the info bar. Let’s come together to spread warmth and kindness this season!
