  • Our Mission

To grow a community built on the hope of Jesus, while living lives that share his extraordinary love.

  • Our Vision

To help each person feel like they belong, find hope in Jesus, grow in their journey, and become someone who helps others to do the same.

  • We see a church that loves

    people, and believes that
    every life matters.

We see a church that puts down
    roots, and is committed to
    investing in it’s community
    and city.

We see a church that is passionate
    when they worship God together.

We see a church that values
    community and encouragement,
    support and real friendship.

We see a church that values
    excellence and creativity in
    sharing the word of God.

We see a church for everyone.
    All generations. All demographics.

We see a church that isn’t limited
to a structure or a specific day
of the week, but that chooses to
    always be the church, bringing
    Jesus into our everyday world.

We see a church that builds
    a culture of fun, laughter
    and life.

    We see a church that’s
    constantly evolving it’s methods
to reach out and connect, but
    never compromising the
    message of Jesus.

We see a church that refuses
    to overlook the broken and
    the neglected.

We see a church where people
    find their purpose, and are
    encouraged to GROW their
    dreams and gifts.

We see a church where everyone
finds a place to get involved.

We see a church that creates
    a culture of team, and
    empowers leadership.

We see a church that doesn’t
    subscribe to a religion, but
    focuses on relationship.

  • Our Pastors

    The Zantingh Family

Jono and Nicole met in 1997, were married in 2000, and have chased after God’s calling in ministry together ever since. They are fully devoted to the local church, and see it as God’s best expression of how He’s working in our world. Jono and Nicole have spent the last 20 years leading and serving in local church ministry in Winnipeg, MB. Over these 2 decades, they have pursued consistent fruitfulness, bold faith, a genuine love for people, and a clear devotion to God. Their home and their lives have been open spaces for other people to find Jesus, grow in faith, understand belonging, and step into their active role as a part of Jesus’ church.

You don’t have to know the Zantinghs for very long to understand the passion they have for loving people, and connecting people to Jesus. They prioritize and value a growing and real relationship with God, a commitment to local church, and the pursuit of growth in community. Over the past 8 months, it’s become so clear to Jono and Nicole that God has directed them to plant a church in the city of Edmonton. There has been such tremendous peace, support, and encouragement as they’ve stepped out in faith into this new journey. So many people both locally and abroad have encouraged this call on their lives.

With excitement, Jono, Nicole and their 3 children, Julia, Riley and Kaleb, are stepping out to do what God has placed in their hearts.

  • Join Us

We'd be foolish to embark on a journey like this alone, and we'd be honoured for you to partner with this dream.

Here are three ways you can be involved.

This is a significant God-sized dream, and every God-sized dream begins with prayer. Join us and our team by praying for the city of Edmonton, and Evolve Church.

God’s dream for Edmonton is only possible through the generosity and sacrifice of people like you. Pray and ask God if He would have you give financially towards helping establish Evolve Church. You can partner with a one-time contribution, or even an ongoing monthly gift.

If you’re in the Edmonton area, we would love to have you join our team. If you live outside of Edmonton, pray and ask God if He would have you move to the city of Edmonton to help start Evolve Church.
