    If you've made a decision to follow Jesus, now is the time to get baptized! Whether you made that decision as a child, this year, or this week—Baptism is the next step in your faith journey. Baptism is a beautiful outward expression of the inner work of Jesus in your life.

     

    Baptism is a moment for you to publicly share with those around you that you've decided to follow Jesus. Baptism is a way of saying "I'm all in!"

  • New Life

    Baptism is a symbol of your new life as a Christian. Burying the old and stepping into the new.

     

    Peter paired our inner turning to God with the outward act of being baptized. In Acts 2:38 we read this, “Change your life. Turn to God and be baptized, each of you, in the name of Jesus Christ, so your sins are forgiven.”

     

    The Christian Tradition looks at water baptism as a parallel to the burial of Jesus. And so, our coming up out of the water also parallels the resurrection of Christ. Read Romans 6:4-5.

     

    Some have believed that baptism is necessary to become a Christian, but baptism is actually a declaration of the faith you have already found.

     

    We believe that by taking this next step of baptism, you are taking the next step in belonging to family.

    If you have made a decision to trust and follow Jesus, you’re ready to get baptized.

     

    “Those who accepted his message were baptized…” Acts 2:4
